For this elegant tourmaline pendant, two green cabochons have been set in rhodium-plated silver 925. The teardrop-shaped tourmaline is 6 x 8mm, the round cabochon has a diameter of 6mm. In total, the two cabochons weigh a good two carats.
The eyelet has an inner diameter of 7mm and is also made of rhodium-plated silver 925. Overall, the pendant measures 3.5 x 0.8cm.
Green Tourmaline is also called Verdelite; nowadays rarely found, sometimes misleading names are Taltalite, Africa Emerald, Brazilian Chrysolite, Brazilian Emerald, Brazilian Peridote and Siberian Emerald.
