Intense red-orange color, but still not an endangered coral species!
This classic pendant made of rhodium-plated silver 925, is incl. the eyelet 3,8 x 2,4cm big. The oval cabochon is 28 x 23mm, weighs about 40ct and is set in bezel. Frame setting and eyelet are rhodium-plated silver 925; inner diameter of eyelet 4mm.
The red fossilized horn coral comes from Riley's Canyon near Kamas in Utah. The corals were formed about 300 million years ago; therefore, they are not endangered coral species living today!
The former coral reefs are nowadays high in the mountains of Utah. Since the coral is no longer mined, it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain cabochons or coral jewelry with beautiful designs.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name, a specialist wholesaler for minerals, fossils, gemstones, tumbled stones, collector's objects and gift items made of stone. In the year 1998 I founded the brand Maulwurf Geschenke aus der Natur® in order to combine our product range for resellers, museum shops, dealers and other commercial users of the precious stones with our quality guarantee.
You will only receive mineralogically correctly identified stones from us, which promote the joy of collecting and experiencing the precious treasures of nature. Treatments such as coatings or coloring are always declared. Our own production in Asia guarantees the best quality at attractive wholesale prices and fair and transparent product procurement. I personally vouch for this.
