Freeform K2 (Azurite in Gneiss) unique specimen 012, 10cm

An unusual, highly decorative rock from the far north of Pakistan: K2.

K2 is not a mineral, but a rock consisting of the minerals Azurite and Malachite as well as the rock Gneiss. The rock was given the additional name "K2" because it is also found at the foot of K2, the second highest mountain in the world.
