Qilin is the name of a mythological creature with the body of an ox and the head of a dragon. Despite its ferocious appearance, the Qilin is considered a peace-loving and just creature. In early times, the appearance of a qilin was seen as a sign of the arrival of a wise ruler.
The dragon pendant is carved from Jadeite.
