The Flat Stones made of Eudialyte with syenite are approx. 3 x 2 cm in size and are suitable for many different applications, e.g. for applications, for massage or as a pocket stone and lucky charm.
The red-violet Eudialyte is embedded in a matrix of syenite.
The name Eudialyte is composed of the Greek words "eu" (good, capable) and "dialytos" (decomposable, decomposable) and refers to the easy fusibility and good acid solubility of the mineral. The common spellings eudalite, eudalyth and eudialite are therefore incorrect.
A misleading synonym for eudialite is almandine spar. In Lapland, one of the places where Eudialyte is found, the stone is also called "Blood of the Saami", as legend has it that the stone was formed when the Saami fought a giant on the Kola Peninsula.
