Origin of the raw material: Pakistan

According to the international nomenclature, the mineralogically correct name for Onyx Marble is Calcite-Aragonite or Aragonite-Calcite, whereas Onyx Marble is the common trade name. Other names commonly used in retail and wholesale are calconyx, calcite-alabaster, ribbon marble, aragonite marble, chalcedonyx onyx or marble onyx. The spelling onix marble, however, is not correct. The olive green part is also known as green Onyx.
