The colorful, rather angular fluorite tumbled stones have a thickness of 4-6mm and a diameter of 7-12mm, the whole gemstone strand is 38cm long.
As a classic "learning stone", the colorful fluorite (also called rainbow fluorite) is used in stone healing when structure, order and concentration are required.
The name fluorite is derived from the Latin fluere (to flow) and refers to the mining term fluorspar for fluorite. Spellings such as floride, florite, flouride, fluorite or fluride are therefore not correct.
