The sunstone strand is 40cm long, i.e. two bracelets can be made from the strand. The remaining stones can then be used to create matching earrings using the wire wrapping technique, for example.

The mineralogical name for Sunstone is aventurine feldspar; the reddish color and sparkle are caused by tiny inclusions of Hematite and other iron oxides. Nowadays, an outdated name for sunstone is heliolite or heliotite.
