Crystal tourmaline (pink, black) in Albite unique 004, 10,2cm

What a work of art of nature! This beautiful collector's item comes from the Skardu Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan (northern Pakistan), which is famous for its gemstones.

The large pink tourmaline crystal is about 7.5 cm long and is embedded in white-grey Albite. The pink tourmaline and the light-colored matrix form an attractive contrast to the crystals of black tourmaline.

Overall, the tourmaline specimen measures approx. 10.2 x 6.8 cm and weighs approx. 420 g.
