Turquoise is a popular stone in our mineral wholesale due to its bright color when designing gemstone necklaces and bracelets. Turquoise rough stones are very difficult to process due to their mineralogical properties and would break when the stones are cut and drilled, so they are stabilized in a resin bath before processing. This process, which is very common in the market, is called "stabilizing" and is marked with "(stab.)" on the Turquoise strands.
Due to limited availability of natural Turquoise rough, we have Turquenite (colored Magnesite) in our assortment as a lower priced alternative. Both the Turquoise strands and the Turquenite strands are approx. 38 - 40cm long; other lengths are indicated with the individual strand.
Selected single strands of Turquoise in other shapes and sizes can be found in our sales showroom in Ludwigsburg (between Stuttgart and Heilbronn) as well as at our exhibition booths, e.g. at the Inhorgenta or the Mineralientage München (The Munich Show).
