The lapis lazuli cluster measures approx. 6 x 5.5 cm and weighs approx. 105 g. The Lapis Lazuli has an intense dark blue tone, which forms an attractive contrast to the white matrix with Pyrite.
The name Lapis Lazuli is derived from the Latin terms "lapis" (stone) and lazulum (blue). Alternative spellings such as lapizlazuli, lapis lazuli or lapizlazulli are incorrect.
